Present church: Chancel, continuous aisles, n and s porches and w tower. Completely reconstructed 1259 and mainly rebuilt in the 15th cent.

West tower buttressed diagonally at west with projecting stair turret at NE. Lower stages of tower still contain some Norman work but largely reconstructed in 1425. 6 steps lead up from the nave into the tower.

North porch has well carved wagon roof and in chancel single sedilla and 13t cent piscina.

Brass of 1420 to Margery Arundell in the chanceland Carew family memorials 1555 to 1835 one of which to Richard Carew, author of Survey of Cornwall. Antony house, Carew Family seat close. The rood stairs are blocked by the memorial to Sir John Carew 1692.

The six holed stocks are on view in the North Porch, there is also a cresset stone.
